  • Images may be sent to our AI analysis service (OpenAI) for processing
  • We do not use facial recognition or biometric identification

Subscription Information

  • Subscription status and history
  • Payment information (processed by Apple and RevenueCat; we do not store credit card details)

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.

Retention Periods

  • Account data: Duration of account + 30 days
  • Facial images: Temporarily during analysis, then deleted immediately and not retained
  • Usage logs: 90 days
  • Subscription history: As required by law (typically 7 years)
Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside your region. By using the App, you consent to these transfers.

  • Only numerical/text-based analysis results (scores and recommendations) are retained

Security

  • Encrypted transmission (TLS 1.2+)
  • No permanent storage
  • No facial recognition or biometric identification

Retention

  • Glowmate does not retain any face data or facial images after analysis is complete
  • Derived analysis results are kept only as part of your progress history and deleted when your account is deleted

User Rights

  • Access information about how face data is used
  • Delete account and related analysis results
  • Opt out by not using the skin-analysis feature
